Laurie Thomas has been an Island resident for over the past 20 years. She also owns and operates the very successful Avalon Magical Weddings, Magical Melodies Island Disc Jockey/ Karaoke service, and Catalina Island live Entertainment services. Laurie insists on quality at the very best value possible. Her companies are based on the belief that her customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Laurie is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of her business is from repeat customers and referrals.

Brides and event planners may make an appointment with Laurie, no later than one week in advance, for a personalized free consultation if needed. Although a pre- visit to the island is not necessary, as most anything can be worked out over the phone, and or, by sending photo's via e-mail. Laurie can design something totally unique just to fit your very special likes and needs, or if you have a photo of something you like, she can recreate just about anything depending upon availability of the flower types and if in season. If you like, you may also rent our vases, mirrors, candle holders, pillars, and many other things to help keep down the cost of your event.
